As a Subject Matter Expert, you will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and support to ensure the seamless operation of network infrastructure. Required: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, or a related field. • Alternatively, 10+ years of documented relevant experience. • 8-10 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior role. • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS). • Expertise in network hardware/software (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet). • Proficiency in network security principles, cloud networking (AWS, Azure), and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V). • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Top-Secret Clearance required. Preferred: • Advanced certifications (e.g., CCIE, CCNP). • Experience in large-scale enterprise environments. • Familiarity with scripting/automation tools (Python, Ansible). Additional Expertise: • Developing network architectural diagrams and documentation. • Network monitoring and ensuring 99.999% uptime. • Troubleshooting and resolving network issues. • Communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences. • Implementing automation scripts and processes. • Supporting DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and DIARMF frameworks. • Utilizing DoD Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS). • DoD 8140 IAT Level II Certification is mandatory.
