Description: High School Mathematics Leave Replacement Teacher current to 3/14/25

Job Summary:
  • Implement the curriculum as aligned to New Jersey Student Learning Standards.
  • Prepare and implement lessons that provide meaningful learning experiences for students.
  • Establish clear objectives that reflect the learning standards.
  • Differentiate academic instruction for students at varying levels of attainment to maximize student potential.
  • Exercise open and respectful communication with families, co-workers, supervisors, and other school staff.
  • Measure progress and accomplishments of students towards their academic achievements on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required.
  • Provide a safe, thriving, and respectful environment for all students in the classroom and on the school campus.
  • Exhibit structured classroom management.
  • Create a stimulating, aesthetically welcoming, organized, functional, healthy, and safe classroom.
  • Utilize technology effectively in lessons, including gathering and managing student data.
  • Perform non-instructional duties with timeliness and accuracy.
  • Attend professional development sessions in order to further advance professional practice.
  • Continue to grow professionally through collaboration with colleagues and professional growth experiences.
  • Maintain a reflective teaching practice.
Qualifications:
  • New Jersey K-12 Mathematics Certification Required.
  • High School teaching experience preferred.
