Description
The Rudolph Libbe Group offers a professional Co-Op to students in the Construction or Solar field. As a Co-op in our Energy/Solar department, you will gain a basic understanding of the duties of a Project Manager / Estimator and observe the construction process in the field and office. You will have the opportunity to utilize and build upon your education as well as shadow a Project Manager during various project phases and participate in the following activities:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Research/Intelligence gathering as directed by Solar Manager or Director of Solar
- Review and analyze Utility Grid Hosting Capacity Maps
- Research and find open/available land in favorable areas based on review of Hosting Capacity Maps.
- State incentive programs
- State licensing and permitting requirements
- Subcontractor partners in remote states/areas
- Special assignments as required
- Automation
- Floating Solar
Active Project Work:
- Safety
- GEM Safety Orientation
- Jobsite audits
- Customer/Site-specific training
- Document control
- Gather, process and record Submittals
- Drawing log
- Coordination with third party Engineers per the direction of Manager
- Develop and maintain accurate quantity/productivity tracking
- Equipment/Material management and tracking
- Assist with QA/QC program on site
- Gather and organize closeout documentation
- Compile O&M Manuals
You will also gain an understanding of how the office, field, and various Rudolph Libbe Group companies/departments team up to complete a successful project by spending time with a mentor as well as spending time with various departments learning how they work.
Valid Driver's License required.
