Chemical Operator

The person in this role is responsible for manufacturing chemical products while assuring compliance is achieved in all company associated policies.

- Safe and efficient operation of the process or processes assigned
- Apply all plant safety rules and guidelines
- Wear and maintain PPE including a respirator
- Develop and apply improvements in processes and equipment
- QA checks
- Adjust formulations
- Assist in loading trailers
- Unload raw materials as needed
- Complete all paperwork including batch sheets, run sheets and shift reports
- Inspect plant equipment daily
- Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in a chemical, pharma or food manufacturing environment
- Forklift experience
- Attention to detail
- Able to work a rotating 12 hour shift and OT as needed
- MS Office application knowledge
- Able to lift 50-75 lbs
- Able to get around a 20 acre site to various buildings
- Work in confined spaces as needed
- Able to wear a respirator and pass respirator physical
