Our Client is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Department. Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, the EHS Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant EHS laws and regulations. This role focuses on risk mitigation and supports the development and implementation of EHS policies and programs.

Job Description:
Our Client is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Department. Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, the EHS Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant EHS laws and regulations. This role focuses on risk mitigation and supports the development and implementation of EHS policies and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage EHS strategies, policies, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required.
- Respond to incidents, assist in investigations, and implement corrective actions.
- Stay informed about regulatory changes and update company policies accordingly.
- Provide EHS training and support to employees.
- Assist in coordinating EH&S policies and procedures across departments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar industry.
- Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety management systems such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001 is an advantage.
- Experience in compliance auditing and training is a plus.
- Knowledge of ergonomics is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of regulations including EPA, OSHA, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- OSHA 10 or 30 Certification is a plus.
