Piper Companies is looking for an Environmental Monitoring Specialist to join a leading biopharmaceutical company in Durham, North Carolina . The Environmental Monitoring Specialist will work to ensure materials entering our client's product are processed, tested, packaged, stored, and distributed in alignment with all regulatory requirements and meet their high standards.
Responsibilities for the Environmental Monitoring Specialist:
Assist manufacturing and environmental monitoring testing groups
Archive detailed laboratory documentation that abides by GDP standards
Conduct laboratory sampling in accordance with GMP/FDA regulations and company standards
Cross train to assist other quality areas including environmental monitoring investigations, deviation management, and inspection support
Qualifications for the EM Specialist:
Bachelor of Science in Biology, Microbiology, or another related field
Experience working within a clean room environment
Experience taking and transporting samples, and maintaining laboratory documentation
Compensation for the EM Specialist:
$65,000-$75,000 (paid hourly)
