POSITION SUMMARY: The Integrated Modeling Group in the Laboratory for Laser Energetics' Theoretical Division seeks a Computational Physicist to support the development and optimization of state-of-the-art multi-physics hydrodynamics codes relevant to Inertial Confinement Fusion.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will focus on code development and optimization using state-of-the-art tools and techniques. The candidate will also develop new or augmented physics packages.
QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should have a PhD in Physics, Astrophysics, Computational Physics, or a related field.
