: Integrated Stockpile Evaluation \(ISE\) is a program at Sandia focused on integrating and transforming the various surveillance and evaluation activities and programs that are used to evaluate the performance of the US nuclear weapons stockpile\. The ISE Planning, Information, and Data Systems Department is responsible for the collection and integration of all Sandia ISE requirements and the development of both annual and 5\-year plans for meeting these requirements\. Specific areas of the plan include cross cutting areas such as System level lab and flight testing capabilities, Component and Material Evaluation \(CME\), Stockpile Evaluation Data Management and Information Systems: System Level Test Equipment and Telemetry Ground Station support\. The department serves as the primary surveillance interface for SNL with NNSA, LANL, LLNL, NSC \(KCP\), Pantex, SRS, and Y12\. The ISE planning team provides key technical leadership roles for the Enhanced Surveillance Campaign, and develops processes, tools, and information to support the Integrated Stockpile Evaluation program\. We are seeking a R&D Systems Engineer with an interest in leadership and program planning and reporting to support a breadth of ISE activities including: + Teaming with NNSA, the physics labs, and the production agencies on surveillance planning, tracking and reporting;+ Developing and managing an ISE communication strategy through the ISE technical seminar series, dialogue sessions, etc\.;+ Providing technical leadership for portions of the Enhanced Surveillance Campaign portfolio focused on improved capabilities including modern diagnostics and system margin, robustness, and failure analysis capabilities;+ Participating in the development of business rules, policies, and processes to ensure consistent and efficient approaches to stockpile evaluation;+ Tracking and reporting on surveillance metrics related to testing as well as Significant Finding Investigations;+ Leading the formulation of ISE strategies to support modernization efforts and transformation of surveillance of the enduring stockpile commensurate with long term budget forecasts;+ Travel required for visiting customer sites;+ Participate on and lead teams to develop evaluation requirements from the systems derived CSEP\.
