Prof. Chen's research focuses on using online education technologies to improve teaching, learning and assessment of physics in both online and blended courses.
Accepted applicants will be supported as teaching assisstant for the first year, and as research assistant in the second year. Support beyond the first two years is possible depending on performance and funding availability.
Preferred qualifications: Robust knowledge in undergraduate level physics, interest in education/cognitive science/online technology. Experience in education research, programming, data analysis or online-courses is highly appreciated but not required.
