The Physics Department at Hamilton College anticipates hiring for a 1-year visiting position at the rank of Assistant Professor that will begin July 1, 2017. A PhD in physics required. The successful candidate will be comfortable teaching physics at the introductory and intermediate levels in both classroom and laboratory settings. Preference will be given to candidates prepared to teach introductory astronomy. The department is committed to the mentoring and training of junior faculty.We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate their experience in teaching or working with diverse student populations.
