CAMPEP Accredited Medical Physics Program within Department of Physics at Louisiana State University is seeking two highly motivated postdoctoral researchers who are expected to work on multiple radiation therapy research projects related to the improvement of outcome of radiation therapy, including treatment planning and delivery, in-vivo patient dose measurements, image registration and analysis, organ motion management, mathematical modeling, Monte Carlo simulation etc. The candidates will be able to gain extensive clinical medical physics experience.
Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in medical physics, physics, engineering or a related field, with strong physics, mathematics and programming background. Proficiency in C/C++ and MATLAB programming is required.
Special or Physical Qualifications: Ability to travel. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. Good communication skills.
