Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in experimental condensed matter physics at the University of Wisconsin. The successful candidate will conduct research in one or more of the following areas: coherent superconducting qubits, quantum-limited microwave amplifiers and detectors, and mesoscopic noise. Experience in any of the following areas is desired: thin-film vacuum deposition and characterization, nanofabrication, low-noise and low-temperature measurement techniques, and experimental quantum information processing. Positions are available to start in the summer of 2014. Qualified candidates should send a curriculum vitae and list of publications along with the email addresses for three references to Prof. Robert McDermott (email@example.com). Review of materials will begin immediately and applications will be considered until position is filled. Electronic application materials are preferred (please include as an email attachment).
